Robert Smith Memorial Scholarship Application
The St. Andrew’s Society of Philadelphia and The Carpenters’ Company of the City and County of Philadelphia invite your institution or program to nominate one student to participate in the competitive award process for the Robert Smith Memorial Scholarship, a new collaborative initiative between the Society and the Company.
The purpose of the Robert Smith Memorial Scholarship is to increase appreciation for colonial America’s premier architect and master builder while supporting the professional development of a current student pursuing education and/or employment in the traditional building trades.
Note: If you are interested in a Scotland-based educational opportunity, please contact us at least one month prior to the deadline for additional guidance and instructions.
Submission of this completed application by a student of one of the invited schools/programs guarantees the student a place in the competitive interview process. Accordingly, the applicant should plan on attending an interview in November 2024 at Carpenters’ Hall, 320 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19106.
For details regarding this scholarship opportunity, please visit the Carpenters' Company website at https://company.carpentershall.org/pages/robert-smith-memorial-scholarship.
The deadline has been extended to Tuesday, October 29th.
Should you have any questions, please contact Scholarship Coordinator Emily Winters at emilywinters@carpentershall.org.
